My name is Dr Laura Leslie, professional coach at Siskin Coaching.

I spent 20 years in the Higher Education sector, from a post-graduate student, through to an Associate Professor and Head of School. During my academic career, I led teams at operational and strategic level, managing individuals and groups of varying sizes and with varying remits. I have made difficult decisions, dealt with unexpected and rapidly changing situations, and faced my own personal and professional challenges.

In those most challenging of times, whether it was handling my first 'difficult conversation', or making big decisions about my own future, my coach was there to support me in understanding and recognising my thoughts, concerns and ambitions, in preparing for difficult situations, understanding myself and who I wanted to be, and making the best decisions I was able to make for me.

As a leader, my proudest achievements have been in the empowerment of others, supporting and enabling them to have self-belief, learn new skills, reflect on where they want to be, and achieve great things.

Now, as a coach, I am here to support you in your journey of development.
